Helidays 2003 was held on Beach Lawns
Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK,
on 25th, 26th and 27th July 2003
The German Army HFR-26 B?105P anti-tank helicopter, 87+95, landed in heavy rain in the morning of Friday 25th. Apache AH-64D from the Royal Netherlands Air Force Tactical Helicopter Group's No.301 Squadron at Gilze Rijen. 303 (SAR) Squadron of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, at Leeuwarden, contributed this AB412SP, Serial R-02.
Aerospatiale AS350B Ecureuil, G-OGOA, c/n 1745, belonging to Lomas Helicopters Ltd. was from Lake Heliport, Abbotsham. The Belgian Air Force Westland Sea King Mk.48A HAS.3, Code RS03, came from 40 Squadron at Koksijde. This Robinson R-44 Astro, G-WYSP, c/n 0657 in an unusual blue livery, belongs to Calderbrook Estates Ltd.

Bell 47G-5, G-BAXS, c/n 7908, piloted by Royden Kemp, flew from Fairoaks to make its annual visit to Helidays. SA.341D Gazelle HT.3, XX382, the training version of the AH.1, is now privately owned and based at East Garston. Westland Lynx Mk.88A, 83+04, with two Rolls-Royce Gem 42-1 engines, is one of 20 Lynx produced for the German Navy
Robinson R22 Beta II, G-CBZF, from Hields Aviation, Sherburn. Powered by a Lycoming 0-360 air-cooled 4-cyl. piston engine. Luftwaffe Dornier-Bell UH-1D, 71+02, c/n 8162, from LTG63 at Hohn. NH-90s will replace Air Force UH-1s from 2008. Eurocopter AS350B Squirrel HT1, ZJ263, from the Defence Helicopter Flying School, the unit run by FBS at Shawbury.
