The 19th Weston Helidays opened on Friday 24th July and continued until Sunday 26th July 2009. One of the early arrivals, under a threatening sky, was an Agusta A109E Power Elite, ZR322, from No.32 (The Royal) Squadron RAF, based at Northolt and used for VIP transport. |

First to arrive was 22 Sqn's WS61 Sea King HAR3A, ZH544, from RMB Chivenor, on standby for SAR duties. | Agusta A109BA, H-45, from the Belgian Air Component, Bierset, is configured as an attack helicopter. | Approaching Beach Lawns, from over the sea, was WS Puma HC1, XW214, from 33 Sqn at RAF Benson. | ||
Enstrom 280FX Shark, G-PBYY, flew in from Gloucestershire. Built in 1993 it is owned by Bob Morgan. | From the German Army Air Corps was this Sikorsky CH-53G, serial 84+84, built by VFW-Fokker in the 1970s | This MBB Bo105DBS-4, G-NDAA, is based at Filton, Bristol, and operated by the Great Western Air Ambulance. | ||
Robinson R44 Raven II, G-ROTG. Owned by Rotorflight Ltd at Bristol Flight Centre, it was built in 2006. | Brantly B.2B, G-AWDU, built in 1968, hover-taxies into its static display position beside Bell 47G-5, G-BAXS. | French Air Force AS 555AN Fennec, 5441/VO, is powered by two 340kw Turbomeca turbines. | ||

From the Army Air Corps Historic Flight came this Westland Scout AH1, XT626. It joined the Flight in 1994. | Robinson R22 Beta, G-BYIE, flew in from Ewenny in South Wales. It is owned by Givens Aviation. | Privately owned but on loan to the AACHF, the Saro Skeeter AOP Mk12, XL812 (G-SARO), arrived by road. | ||
John Henshall's Eurocopter EC120B, G-FEDA, was one of the early arrivals on the Friday.
